Yesterday on the phone she asked me, do you work with models? I told her yes, I have, and we went on to talk more about being a model photographer in Denver. I also explained that I believed every woman could be a model if they had the right photographer, right concept, and right situation! She is now flying into Denver from Atlanta at the end of January!
When I first started as a photographer, I vowed to not work with models, and most people thought I was crazy! They asked how are you going to build your portfolio? I said it was simple. If I couldn’t direct a normal woman, then how could I be a great photographer to models?
Now I work with models regularly when they need to build their portfolios. On occasion, a model and I will dream up a concept to submit to a magazine for a feature! This black and white magazine feature was one of my favorites! You can view more of our features by clicking here.
How do Denver fashion model photographer sessions work?
Well, there are a few different options. You can contact the studio for more details, but here are a few highlights. Yes, on occasion, we will offer TF shoots. Models are required to sign a full model release and be over the age of 21. You can bring your wardrobe or use the robes and black chiffon dress we have at the studio. We don’t require nudity during sessions. We love great concepts and collaborations with all kinds of women.
