So you’re pregnant! Congratulations, and you’ve landed in the right place if you’re thinking about a maternity session. Our Denver maternity photographers love creating beautiful photos of mothers-to-be! Every pregnancy is different, and we keep that in mind when planning your maternity session. When Should I Schedule?

We recommend you schedule your session anytime between 20-34 weeks. This is just a recommendation because we understand every woman feels different about their bodies at different stages. We want you to be comfortable and feel beautful. Some may want to wait late into their pregnancy because they want a fuller bump. Some clients go earlier because they want a smaller bump either way it’s all about you! If you want to schedule your session past 34 weeks it’s okay, but we always proceed with caution. Pregnancy is unpredictable, and we’ve expereinced a ton of clients who went into labor after leaving their session. We’ve also had clients miss their session at 38 and 39 weeks because they went into labor before their session. These are just things to keep in mind when scheduling you maternity session with one of our Denver maternity photographers.

Does It Have To Be A Boudoir Session?

No, it does not have to be a maternity boudoir photography session! We want every client to embrace this moment in your life and if you are more comfortable not doing boudoir then that’s okay! This maternity session is not about us, it’s about you! Our Denver maternity photographers can photograph you in formal wear, outside, at-home, or in your favorite overalls! We offer a variety of robes and maternity dresses, but it isn’t a requirement to wear them. If you want to do fine art nudes during your maternity session we are happy to do it. We work with you closely to make sure your vision comes to life during your Denver maternity boudoir photo session.

Can I Bring My Husband With Me?

You can bring along your husband, kiddo(s), partner or you can come alone for some pampering! Our Denver maternity photographers love when family comes along! Some of our best photos include all kinds of family members. There is always the option with our packages to break up the sessions and include family in only a few of the photos instead of the entire session. You will need to reach out to the studio for more information on those options.
